Originally presented as a concept for a design conference title sequence. Alas, the concept didn't end up being the one that was chosen, but I thought that my motion tests still deserved to see the light of day. The conference theme was human identity and belonging. The idea here was that there would be a vast array of wildly different objects each created in completely different styles that represent the multifaceted and ever-changing aspects of what makes up our identities. These objects gradually come to rest inside of a perfect recess that looks like only that shape belongs in. At the end we see that thousands of these objects are coming together to form a human.
