Glassworks were thrilled to collaborate with Glasgow-based agency Bright Signals on this campaign for Edinburgh Gin.
Directed by Duncan Malcolm, London’s Creative Director of 2D, Glassworks delivered an end-to-end production that ensured a seamless workflow from storyboards all the way to the final composite. With two live-action scenes woven into a CGI world of rhubarb forests, ginger meteors and beautiful cityscapes created by the Glassworks VFX team, it’s a feast for the senses - just like the gin.
As a first foray into TV and moving-image advertising for the boutique gin brand, this film was ambitious in the extreme - a fantastical single-camera-move journey through a world of natural flavours, buzzing nightlife and show-stopping VFX.
