We are stoked to have produced Johnnie Walker latest #keepwalkinglebanon 2014 campaign, created by Leo Burnett Beirut.
The concept celebrates the human spirit and the fire inside that keeps us walking. It is the story of a flame braving a relentless storm. The analogy resonates louder in Lebanon whose people have been resilient and defiant to unfortunate conflicts.
With a concept this powerful in its simplicity and universality, director Hadi chose to shoot the battle in camera without resourcing to CG help, and cut it to "life is a tapestry" by Cliff Martinez.
A terrain of 40000 Sqm was turned into the indefinite set and all the special effects elements were filmed over 3 nights on a plateau overlooking Beirut.
Special Effects supervisor Max Poolman, known for his work on District 9, flew from Cape Town to handle the visual effects. Post was handled by Finish and graded by Paul Harrison.
Besides the film follow the fire calligraphy activation as it happens on #keepwalkinglebanon
