Columbia makes such winter-wear that it literally pulls you out into the snowy fun. But there is no snow in the spring and jackets do not come to life in the real world. So we helped them with our CG magic.
In order to achieve this, our VFX supervisor shot on set in addition to standard lighting HDR also reference takes with real rigged and puppeteer-ed jackets, reference movement/action plates with actor-interaction on synchronised multi-angle witness cameras, as well as acquired photogrammetry data of sets/locations for proper implementation of CG elements/extensions.
