BACKGROUND
From the world’s favorite cookie that was famous about its playful Twist Lick Dunk rituals, Oreo has evolved into an iconic brand that believes in unleashing the child within us all by inspiring people to see wonder everywhere. Since then, “wonder” has become the brand’s equity.
In 2016, Oreo wanted to continue to strengthen this equity by bringing wonder to people in a new and different way.
CREATIVE DESCRIPTION
We want to inspire people, regardless of their ages, to see wonder even in the most ordinary. We thought what could be more powerful than turning the most familiar Oreo cookie itself into a surprising wonder experience.
So we decided to help people experience wonder in Oreo by bringing them a very different kind of Oreo that plays music – Oreo Vinyl.
We placed these Oreos in special Oreo Music Packs that came with a mini turntable. Each edible vinyl record in the pack plays the Oreo Anthem in a different musical style, bringing wonder to people’s ears.
