Laura Doggett is a British singer-songwriter who’s mesmerising lyricism and distinctive soulful sound has attracted a legion of fans and critical attention. Talent spotted as a finalist of competition the Next Brit Thing as a teenager, she is now hotly tipped to be one of the ’Stars of 2015’ to watch by London’s Evening Standard newspaper and has been listed on Spotify’s ‘Spotlight on 2015’ list.
‘Old Faces’ has had national exposure in the UK thanks to being featured as the haunting soundtrack in the trailer for the award-winning UK TV Drama ‘Broadchurch’.
Del worked intensively with Laura on her performance and movement throughout the 3 different set ups in the video utilising her arms and long flowing hair. As a nod to Laura's powerful personal song about dreams, ambitions and small-town mentality, a trio of faceless women appear from the past, who perform choreographed gossiping movements and gestures created by Del in compliment to their characters.
