‘Stories from our Supporters’ showcases the passion, enthusiasm and unforgettable Biennale of Sydney experiences of our benefactors – individuals who value and celebrate what we do.
In this edition, ‘The Legacy’, we meet Penelope Seidler AM, Board Director of the Biennale of Sydney and Director of Harry Seidler & Associates. A cherished and well respected patron of the arts, as well as collector of contemporary art, Penelope has visited every Biennale of Sydney exhibition since its inaugural edition at the Sydney Opera House in 1973.
The Biennale of Sydney raises more than 60 percent of our total exhibition budget each edition through philanthropy, corporate partnerships and international cultural funding agencies. This vital support helps keep the Biennale free for everyone to enjoy!
