A series of medical educational films produced by Limelight Productions for WHO's (World Health Organization) mhGAP (mental health Gap Action Programme). The project was funded by International Medical Corps (IMC). The movies are used globally as part of WHO's and IMC's trainings on mhGAP-IG (mental health Gap Action Programme Intervention Guide).
The WHO Mental Health Gap Action Programme (mhGAP) aims at scaling up services for mental, neurological and substance use disorders for countries especially with low- and middle-income. The programme asserts that with proper care, psychosocial assistance and medication, tens of millions could be treated for various disorders, and begin to lead normal lives-- even where resources are scarce.
