Dane approached me with this video and I was really interested in the references he provided for the overall mood for the project. Taking on something from a more aesthetic position rather than the story was an interesting and different approach for me. Working with the Super Baltars and their natural haze when shot wide open really brought these images the film-esque look I was hoping to mimic, all while maintaining the skin tones and cooled-off look from our sources.
