Sokol is a Czech sports organization with 155 years of history. In its prime, Sokol had over a million of members. They fought against the Nazi’s during World War II but were later banned by the Communists. Finally, they rose from ashes after the Velvet Revolution in 1989. We brought Sokol’s rich history alive by using their unique archive of photographs.
