Peng on a pole
The video for Itoa’s song ‘Peng’, the word itself a quite straightforward description for overly attractive girls, comes as close to a social portrait as a music video can possibly get.
Directed by Leon Marks, with Jaroslav Moravec responsible for camera and edit, it dwells on British food culture and delivers a nearly empirical analysis of it.
Chicken wings and burger unite to showcase the sexiness of fast food, glossy grease dripping in nearly obscene ways.
The whole scenery unfolds while in the background the secret star of the video – the kebab – spins indefinitely around its own axis, like a pin-up on a pole.
Music video directed by Leo Marks. Filming and edit by me.
