SELFRIDGES HOT AIR PRESENTS: HOME TRUTHS
Set against the backdrop of a dramatically changing world, the concept of home becomes ever more important. While the world has become an incredible melting pot of culture, diversity and self-expression – recently it seems to have also become more unstable and divided. So how to find a sense of belonging in such times? Whether it’s nurturing a sense of community or creating a haven for self-expression, discover four extraordinary stories about how to find a sense of belonging in a specially commissioned film by Kathryn Ferguson.
Featuring Solomon Golding (Artist of the Royal Ballet and alumni of The Royal Ballet School), Kieran Yates(Contributor at The Guardian, i-D and Vice, author, music critic and maker of British Values zine), Eden Loweth and Tom Barratt from fashion label ART SCHOOL (a label using design, art and luxury fashion as a communicative tool to explore contemporary queerness) and Campbell Addy (London-based photographer, Central Saint Martins graduate and founder of Niijournal, a publication exploring racial representations, and Nii Agency, a casting and modelling agency).
