RECKON is a cloud based accounting system, similar to Xero or MYOB.
Substance was asked to adapt the website’s key UI elements to 2.5D motion graphics pieces to run on the Reckon website, as well as broadcast TVCs.
The animations focus on an actual fledgling business that trades with both the public and B2B, and show how easy and effective Reckon is in the real world as a business scales.
Supplied with elements from the Reckon dev team, we converted assets to Illustrator for animation in After Effects, adding subtle 3D depth and tracking everything with camera moves in 3D space, using a combination of Flame and After Effects.
Every single screen also needed full replacement, with the web UI animated to match the actions of the 3D graphics.
