A documentary produced during the summer of 2004. Programmed on one of the most popular national TV channels in Serbia, B92, two years in a row.
Three people give true confessions about their haunting past as heroin addicts and their struggle to live with HIV and AIDS. All three have attained the deadly virus 10 - 15 years before the doc. film was made, presumably by sharing needles. They also share with the viewer the everyday discrimination they have to deal with, one of the main reasons they insisted on hiding their identities.
Unfortunately, I wasn't able to stay in contact with them and therefor I do not no to this day if they are still alive or if their situation has improved.
This was a lo-no budget project, very scarce funds were provided by The Health Ministry.
