The aim was to get as much 'in camera' as possible.
The conference set had walls that tracked right and towards camera (with a section of ceiling) the table tracked into shot with the actor sat upon it and the other actors were pulleyed in on office chairs (cables ran underneath the set).The office set had an 'earthquake' effect to emphasize the (literally) growing business on the first floor whilst the floor below it was hydraulically lowered (in shot) as the building 'grew'.
