Trying out Adam Heslops great mograph to mesh tools. Due to be released soon, this plugin gives you a shader that allows you to colour polygons via mograph effectors. Its fast and you don't even need to touch cloners. In this test i'm using a zbrush decimated mesh. The material weight of the gold shader is controlled by a plain effector (with the source falloff being driven by traced x-particles). The specular roughness of the gold is then being driven by a random effector (set to turbulence mode).
Check out adam's video here vimeo.com/120357955
And will be available soon on his site, which also contains some other great custom effectors
