Speed-animating test from the Aardman / National Film & Television School Certificate in Character Animation in 2013.
To get a feel for animating at TV series standard for future potential work, I spent part of my final week on the Aardman course practising animating as fast as I could.
While I worked at around 2-4 seconds per day at feature film quality during the rest of the course, I animated this short piece at around 8+ seconds per day, using more of a pose-to-pose approach with less emphasis on smooth, constant fluid motion.
