Interpreting the lyrics: 'Awit sa Paglayang Minamahal' (A Song to the Freedom We Love)
The chords of the National Anthem are laid on a strip of fabric that moves, unrestrained, to form a dove in flight, a universal symbol for freedom.
While the concept of being free is relative, this piece is for everyone who has enjoyed, and cherishes, freedom in one form or another.
This was created as a part of ART IN ANTHEM, an advocacy campaign by Publicis-JimenezBasic that aims to create awareness & interest in the Philippine National Anthem.
