In the low foothills of the mighty Himalaya lies a small village in the Udayapur region. While it seems like it should be a land of plenty - seasonal draughts, climate change and poor literacy rates create the ideal conditions for poverty. Here Save The Children have been working to improve the livelihoods of families through farming initiatives and training, creating income streams which enable children to attend school and ultimately break the cycle.
Anjali's is one such family who have endured unimaginable hardship.
