With the help of the amazing Brandspank NZ and then further developed in-house, we rebranded an iconic Australian television channel group for the first time in twenty years, updating it's proposition and core brand values to reflect the shift in audience and viewing habits over that time.
We developed a completely modular 'sandbox' digital-first branding system across all our platforms - on-air, digital, social & print. This allowed to us to continually reflect emerging trends in the lifestyle space by updating our pattern backgrounds every few months. Our cross-platform branding effectively became a trend forecast.
We develeped our own font based upon the curves of the new logo, and the logo itself lived across the package as an active part of the iconography, whilst being subtly echoed in framing devices to further familiarise the brand new logomark with viewers.
Simple and strong design aesthetics held this infinite colour & ever updating pattern-based look together, along with some of the most artful templating i've ever witnessed by Ben Headon!
