This long and complex action is seen entirely through the eyes of a rising football star, from success at a local amateur game to signing to Arsenal, hard training, and playing stadium games. All the girls and limosines trappings of stardom are balanced against the battles on and off pitch, with disputes, violence, injuries, fights and vomitting adding a gritty realism. The film ends with the player taking a penalty kick and the message 'Take it to the Next Level'. Features slow motion scenes of Wayne Rooney.
