Breakdown of a commercial for Clever.
In the film, shot on Alexa and then motiontracked for 3d cameras we didn’t use any tracker marks this time since the environment was pretty full of details. We could also used the cars as markers, since we knew the exact size of the cars, which helped us to get a perfect scaled track. All plants and grass were made in full 3d. In addition, all of the growing flowers we built from scratch in order to have full control over the textures and the details in animation.
Clever is a Danish company that is building stations where you can supercharge your electric car. In Denmark alone they already have +500 stations and counting. For entry onto the Swedish market they wanted a commercial that showed the environmental benefits of using electrical cars without being to infomercial.
