"Words for Mum" is a Mother's Day project initiated by Jurong Point Shopping Centre (Singapore) to encourage people to express appreciation for all that their mothers have done. As you'll see in the video, people were invited to make a surprise call to their mothers. The foxes were very glad to have been part of this project.
Some aspects were quite challenging. On filming days over one weekend, several shoppers we approached were reluctant to call. Not surprising, as asians tend to be more reserved in expressing our feelings towards our parents. But enough people agreed to participate. We saw many heartfelt moments between mums and their children, regardless of ages.
We too, have been moved to say something to our mothers. Happy Mother's Day. #wordsformum
