This video is our team's passion project. It's about an art club that's been around in Singapore since 1986, and it's also the story of its art teacher, Mr Yap Tay Soon (age 67).
He's also the father of one of our team member, Jun Hua.
Jun Hua's personal reason for doing the project:
"As (his) daughter, I saw the hard work my dad put into this club, and I felt the need to tell his 30-year journey. Even I only learned of the full story after I started on this project."
From all at AFSA, we sincerely wish Mr Yap good health and a happy 30th anniversary for the club. May the Young Artists' Club continue to inspire generations of young artists.
