The HINT

"A hard journey of a Science Teacher trying to build the time machine in order to save his child from death. He had multiple tries to make the machine work, but every time the machine failed. Until one day at the class when he held a lesson about time and one student said what time means for him. As soon as the student finished the teacher realized why his machine didn't work. The answer was simple, the data about time and date wasn't enough for the time jump, and for the machine to work he had to make a helmet that will read his mind and give more information about the location and event. The time machine started working finally but instead of jumping back in time he jumped into another universe where his son was still alive, The reason why this happened is because he never accepted his sons death and he always imagined it alive."
As a kid I always liked Sci-fi films and now I like them even more, and as a fan of this genre I wanted to make a Sci-fi short film. The big problem for me was Special effect also know as CGI, I had some hardcore script going on my mind but all of them needed CGI to be accomplished, so I tried to think at a script that would work with Practical Effects. Going Futuristic wasn't going to help because the set would have required some CGI to make it plausible, and so I went with a script that involved an earlier period of science, I also knew that I was going to find a lot of science material because I knew an old abandoned Science deposit. The set took me 2 days to build with the help of my girlfriend Madalina and Ron, the built was a little bit tricky because of the small space but we managed pretty well.
I have to say we succeeded to film this whole short in one day! And I only had Andrei Vrasmas as a crew member and It was damn hard pull this out!
I must say, for a non budget short with 2 people crew, I'm happy with the result!
My biggest disappointment is that we didn't shot it whit a much better camera
