We were tapped by the team at Animation Block Party, an annual animation festival held in Brooklyn, NYC, to create the theme and titles for their 14th year! Last year, our short film Synapse vimeo.com/143790601 closed out the festival and won their Minute Movie award.
Our friends at ABP said a "high-school battle of the bands would be cool!"
So we teamed up with our badass animator friend Sarah Schmidt (self-portrait @ 00:18, far left) and our music composer friend Ben Branstetter (who has won a real high-school battle of the bands) to create the Battle of the Bands to End ALL.
These titles played before each show over the festival weekend on the silver screen!
