Liz Tyson from Captive Animals' Protection Society approached us to animate several images created by Cartoonist, Tony Husband. The aim of the film was to raise awareness of mobile zoos and animal parties. Animals within these types of activities are often kept in squalid conditions and have an extremely poor quality of life. Once Tony had provided us with his illustrations we undertook the task of seperating elements of the images within Photoshop in order to animate them using after effects. The polaroid picture sequence was created in 3D using Cinema 4D. A dedicated website mobilezoo.org.uk has been set up to educate parents and teachers about the animal and child welfare issues surrounding mobile zoos, with accompanying materials to download and the short film, which supporters of the campaign are being encouraged to share to help to raise awareness.
