German auto company Mercedes-Benz has unveiled an autonomous truck that will be able to drive itself around roads across Europe in 10 years time.
"In 10 years trucks will be able to drive autonomously on the motorways and highways of Europe," claimed a statement from Mercedes-Benz, which has revealed the Future Truck 2025 developed by the Daimler Trucks department of the company.
The prototype truck is designed to reduce emissions, increase road safety and create a connected network of haulage vehicles.
