This is a set of interstitials created for Animation Domination, a late-night programming block that airs on the FXX network focusing on original adult animation series. For this package we got to play around with the characters from their shows, like Lucas Bros. Moving Co. and Stone Quackers, using an overall “glitchy” aesthetic that mixes warped VHS effects and the corrupted video artifacts of the digital age. Our goal was to find a timeless essence, the sludgy common ground where the analog and the binary meet, and infuse our pieces with the one feature that all means of communication share: the error, the malfunction, the noise, the glitch – a proper companion to the deviant content of the shows featured on Animation Domination.
