Wieden+Kennedy London tapped us for the launch of the new Nike Hypervenom II boots. The campaign is centered around Nike’s star athletes, as we literally go inside the mind’s eye of several of the most deceptive and deadly strikers in the game. With three launch films and a smattering of original still illustrations, the integrated campaign rolled out across social media, released by the likes of Kane, Lewandowski, Neymar Jr, Sturridge, Rooney and others as they geared up for the start of a new season. The surreal animations and illustrations are grounded in football truths and inspired by the mind boggling feats of athletic prowess that celebrate each athlete’s phenomenal skill.
