Young Runners is a weekly unique edutainment variety program combining formats of variety shows and urban action races. Eight teams are being selected through the auditions and every week, two teams and their celebrity hosts will compete and race against each other in order to advance to the next level. The content of the game are mapped to Singapore's Ministry Of Education curriculum and in each episode, team members will have to get past five stations that will test their mandarin proficiency as well as their speed and teamwork.
