Game of Thrones - BSkyB
The Studio has just completed the launch campaign for BSkyB's Game of Thrones campaign 'Home of Thrones'.
The campaign included designing and conceptualising a Game of Thrones style world for titles and endboards to sit on as well as creating bespoke digital 6 sheet animations.
The Studio worked along side Smoke & Mirrors Design who created all the off-air print deliverables for billboard and magazine.
The campaign focused on the two elements Fire and Ice which feature heavily in the narrative of the series. Working alongside Sky's Gregg Clark The Studio developed two matte paintings, one in an icescape where the camera pulls out to reveal the Game of Thrones lettering imbedded into the ice with a snow storm revealing the TX info.
The other was a dried cracked earth landscape with molten type burned into the earth sending red hot tinders into the atmosphere.
CG was created in C4d using turbulence FD for particle storm generation and fire elements.
Everything had to be produced and rendered to work for TV and digital formats.
