When asked by the guys at THQ to completely create a cinematic game trailer for the latest installment of their popular series: MX vs ATV, totally from scratch, without even having seen the game itself, we were like “Yes.” And then we were like, “Wait, what did we just agree to? We stopped listening at ‘video game’.”
What we came up with is an action packed :60 race through an abstract stylized Motocross world. The spot follows a pack of adrenaline-fueled riders as they fight through the spiraling, bumpy course, knocking one another off one by one until a lone hero – Supercross champion James Stewart – remains as the victor.
The trailer premiered at the most highly anticipated race of the Supercross season, the Anaheim 1 series opener, to a sold out crowd of 45,000 Supercross fans. Learn more about the game itself at mxvsatv.com.
