ASME & CHANNEL NEWS ASIA "THE ENTREPRENEUR"

For 3 years in a row we’ve profiled Singapore’s very own top entrepreneurs. Each year, we rack our brains on how to visually present the entrepreneurs to viewers. This year we decided to take the ‘image spot’ route. Entrepreneurs with hardly any TV experience, (many of whom had never been in front of a video camera before) were beaten into submission until they finally managed to pull out poses worthy of places on America’s Next Top Model. In reality, the process was much much simpler. These businessmen and woman (the only one in the lot) gave us the most natural smiles, head tilts, and profiles with just a bit of coaching. Due to time constraints, we didn’t have time to recce all 15 entrepreneurs’ operations beforehand, so each day was a mad scramble to ascertain the best backdrop for profile shots of the entrepreneurs. One week of shoot, filled with 12-hour days was made bearable with cat naps in between locations and a production team that remained positive and quick-witted every step of the way.
