The company formerly known as Datacraft is now Dimension Data, a network solutions company whose past commercials we have also worked on before. The concept for this TVC was of a statuesque, savvy businessman walking through a business district, full of skyscrapers, at once sleek, and slightly gritty. The director’s vision was to portray a business landscape that stood for the ideal business environment that Dimension Data could create for its customer. As such, network solutions to various industries were quite literally, mirrored in the windows of buildings along the central figure’s journey, and famous iconic buildings all around the world were modified and assembled together in this in an extreme wide shot within this ‘world’ to represent Dimension Data’s global presence. Did we mention this was all shot against green and composited against a 3D environment built from scratch?
