StarHub’s Variety Vision Drama Channel is 20 years old and we are extremely proud to have been involved in producing the on-air campaign that celebrates the anniversary.
Featuring a veritable whose who of the Singapore media and social scene, the 6 spots features local Members of Parliament, Denise Phua and Baey Yam Keng, Filmmaker Jack Neo, Radio DJ Anna Lim, Music Composer Lee Wei Song and Actress Irene Ang. Revolving around the tagline “VVD 20 Years of Sharing Our Stories”, each image spot focuses on sharing a little known life story about our featured subjects.
Delivered in their own imitable style, we found new respect for these individuals as they shared their stories about beating the odds and advancing worthy causes. The image spots are meant to project a personal touch and a lesser-known face of these public figures.
Directed by StarHub Creative Director James Chung, filmed on the Canon 5D MKIII and graded in Da Vinci, these spots prove that when you have a good story to tell, there really is no better way of engaging your audience. Just like how VVD has been entertaining its audience for 20 years.
