DID TV in Vietnam approached us at the start of the year with a brief to revamp one of their channels – HTV2. Previously HTV2 had been synonymous with general entertainment but with the revamp, the new channel’s identity will be fresh, vibrant and forward looking.
From the initial styleframes to the final deliverables, there was a great deal of research done, as the Vietnam market is markedly different from Singapore. Between DID TV in Vietnam and us, there were many long conversations as we worked to nail down the essence of the rebrand. Thank god for the wonders of technology and Skype which kept the conversations going and the project chugging along.
Working on a series of 6 channel idents, menu boards, break bumpers and lower third straps, our creative and graphics team cranked up a visual feast of graphic elements representing the lifestyle choices available on the channel.
