The BFI London Film Festival is back in town, so BUG, the bi-monthly music video night held a special edition show at the BFI Southbank to celebrate a decade of the London-based independent record label, Full Time Hobby. The label has been home to such artists as The Leisure Society, White Denim, School of Seven Bells, Timber Timbre and Tunng, and Fujiya & Miyagi. It is also known for its collaborations with some of the coolest new music video directors including, Tom Haines, Persistent Peril, Wade Shotter, Ewan Jones Morris, and Mathy & Fran. Loco is the post-production partner for BUG, so our team continues to prepare the on-screen content for the show.
Award-winning comedian, Alex Horne hosted the BUG special. (Alex is also known as the creator and host of the popular music show and BBC Radio 4 series, the Horne Section.) The BUG special featured some of the curators’ favourite music videos from the Full Time Hobby archive as well as brand new material and very special guest Mike Lindsay of Tunng.
