Richard Bazely directed Lost Treasure Hunt, an animated TV pilot where real-life history and action-adventure meet. The programme is based on actual lost artifacts and allows young viewers to learn about history as they get caught up in the drama of the heros solving clues and outwitting the baddies. Funded in part by the National Endowment for the Humanities, the first episode was broadcast nationally on PBS in the USA as a tie in with Columbus Day. Animation was produced at Bay Area studio Ghostbot.
