You might be forgiven for thinking there has been an alien invasion recently, as the new campaign for Alien The New Fragrance by Thierry Mugler has been appearing everywhere from digital billboards and instore screens to online and TV.
This ethereal commercial featuring a solar goddess awakening in an ancient temple in the desert was directed by QUAD / Believe Media’s Floria Sigismondi and lovingly reversioned for the UK by Love Loco. As a creative production company, Loco were asked create a UK master, which included sourcing a suitable voice taking into account the brand values and tone of Thierry Mugler. We searched the heavens for the vocal embodiment of the solar goddess and found Lucy Akhurst courtesy of Another Tongue.
As well as reversioning the 20″ commercial for TV and online, Loco also created the digital signage for the campaign that can now be seen on giant screens up and down the country from St Johns Shopping centre in Liverpool to Victoria Station, London.
