The prospect of marketing luxury yachts in Monaco was naturally an exciting opportunity for Loco when Chris McKeeman first began discussing the idea with Steven Taylor of Steven Taylor & Associates. STA's client, renowned Dutch shipyard Heesen, has an excellent reputation to uphold when it comes to delivering custom built superyachts, and they were looking to complement the naval architect’s rigor and efficiency with an evocative, brand building presentation.
Steven & Chris worked closely to develop an audiovisual event to be staged for Heesen at this year’s Monaco Yacht Show monacoyachtshow.com. Steven’s concept for the event was to immerse guests at the port-side marquee in a sensory-rich experience of luxury lifestyle and brand developing imagery combined with a full-on sound mix. Loco commissioned sound designer Steve Goldsmith to devise a 5.1 surround sound experience.

Combining the sounds of roaring lions together with helicopter and radio frequency changes enabled the team to make the most of the soundscape in their presentation to this exclusive audience.
The five-minute show also involved Loco’s Tony Lee creating new CGI animation, which was then edited with existing materials by Loco's senior VFX artist, Lee Bamsey. To package the enticing content, Lee developed several evocative motion graphics sequence. As well as premiering at the Monaco Yacht Show, the video is featured on the front page of the Heesen Yachts website heesenyachts.nl.
Steven Taylor, expressed his thanks, “This was our first film with you and the largest film project we have yet done for Heesen.
