Loco partnered with Reality Awards and Ballistic Events for another great awards show, the 5th annual WGSN Global Fashion Awards. WGSN is the world's leading trend and style forecaster. The night celebrated the very best talent in design and innovation in buying and retail as well as up-and-coming designers.
The event was held on the 14th of May in London's Park Lane Hotel and was attended by a host of celebrities, models and of course, the most glittering stars of Fashion including Twiggy, Nicola Roberts, Eliza Doolittle and Nick Grimshaw. Big moments of the night included Twiggy collecting the Hall of Fame Icon Award and legendary fashion commentator, Colin McDowell receiving the Hall of Fame Outstanding Achievement Award.
Our motion graphics editors, Jon Davey and Aidan Taub created all the onscreen content including stings, nominations packages for the 22 awards, the winners’ videos, and the tribute films for the Hall of Famers. Using the client's theme of "Deep Summer", they produced a whimsical background of catwalk imagery superimposed with an ink drop effect onto which the nominees and winners' names were added.
