What would you do if you found £100,000? For three hapless school friends, it is the start of a weekend of outrageous adventure and a race against time to repay the debt to a furious gangster.
Premiering in cinemas on 2 December, The Weekend, directed by Sheridan De Myers with an original story by Kojo Anim is the debut feature film for rising stars of UK comedy Jovian Wade (EastEnders, Dr Who, The Youngers), Dee Kaate (Walliams and Friends, The JPD Show) and Percelle Ascott aka Internet sensation Mandem on the Wall (Wizards vs Aliens, The JPD Show).
Loco provided colour grading, VFX, motion graphics and title design for the film, all ably coordinated by producer Saša McCartney.
The motion picture soundtrack includes tracks from leading international and UK artists Dizzee Rascal, P Money, D Dark, D double E, Mez, Davinche, Bonkaz as well as original compositions by renowned Hip Hop and Grime producer S.K.I.T.Z Beatz.
