Loco was commissioned to create an opening animation for the new Oddschecker App. The comprehensive mobile odds comparison tool allows users to compare prices for several bookmakers and place bets in-app.
Loco’s creative team presented a range of treatments for a pitch, and we then developed the winning idea into storyboards, an animatic and the final animation. Our CGI animation incorporates the Oddschecker branding as it takes users through an inviting 3D space dotted with betting odds and sports symbols. Dispensing with the usual pointing finger technique, our animators devised a clever lightning bolt and target technique to introduce how the user navigates within the App to demystify the range of betting options for their favourite sporting events.
