For Madame Tussauds Amsterdam, we created an audio-visual experience that welcomes visitors among the stars. The show starts with an elevator ride where visitors can look around to see the stars they’re going to meet. Welcomed by a wall of flashing photo cameras, people then step into a waiting area revamped with glass displays that show the iconic footage on which the museum’s wax figures are based. At the end of each video, the electronically controlled display turns transparent to reveal the ‘real’ wax statue, standing in the exact same pose as in the final frame.
