LOVE IN A CAB (等一等爱情) is a telemovie aired on MEDIACORP CHANNEL U. This telemovie was directed by Singapore’s award-winning director, HAN YEW KWANG, who also directed feature films such as WHEN HAINAN MEETS TEOCHEW and 18 GRAMS OF LOVE. This telemovie is a romance drama that stars JOANNE PEH and JULIAN HEE. The two play a pair of strangers whom fate keeps bringing together in taxis over the span of 10 years.
Since taxis is a key element in this telemovie, MOJO mocked up taxi advertisements containing opening credit slates and created a city environment for these taxis to travel around in. This sets up a great opening to a story set in the city about finding true love on-the-go.
