CLIENT: PROMAX&BDA ASIA
The PROMAX&BDA ASIA Conference and Awards Ceremony is held annually to recognize excellence in on-air promotion, branding and advertising in Asia. Awards are open to Satellite, Cable, Broadcast Television, Radio Station and associated new media, their agencies and production houses.
The theme for the 2009 Conference is SUPER POWERS - BEHOLD THE ANONYMOUS HEROES. Unlike most people in television, Promo Producers and Broadcast Designers are anonymous …. yet they have a powerful voice. They possess an awe-inspiring trio of “Super Powers” - The Power of Language, The Power Of Emotions and The Power of Creativity. Every word they write, every graphic they design, and every message they produce will persuade, excite, shock, influence or change viewers. In the impending brave new world, they are up against the “dreaded 3 inch screen” and the “creeping tentacles of Broadband”. But it is what they create that matters more than the platform it is viewed on. This year, PROMAX&BDA ASIA celebrate who they are and what they do. Like Clark Kent and Peter Parker, it’s time for all Promo Producers and Broadcast Designers to rip their clothes off and show off their Creative Lycra!!!
MOJO was once again invited to be the Official Designer for PROMAX&BDA ASIA 2009, after our successful branding for the earlier PROMAX&BDA INDIA 2009. Taking the same characters but pushing the idea further, a cool black look was adopted as we switched from a fun style to a dark and grittier one.
