故事大綱：
何兵(梁朝偉)本是街頭小混混，雖是盲人，但有一項特殊技能，即聽覺過人，他也借助自己的這項技能賺錢謀生。1951年10月8日，地下特務組織701突然發現，所有監聽 的敵臺全部消失，唯一解釋即是對方啟用了新的發射頻道，而何兵的特殊本領對701極為重要，因此701派出張學寧(周迅)尋找何兵，並將他「請」到701找回敵臺.... ..
但有一天，何兵犯了錯，讓張學寧也深陷危險中......
