We teamed up with Cruiserweight Champion of the World, Glenn McCrory to produce this pilot for a TV series about great party cities.
The challenge was to shoot in Newcastle and Rio de Janeiro with limited resources, but make a programme that looked as close to the finished product as possible.
Dene provided a director and used a crew provided by Sky television. Over the course of a five-day shoot, the programme compared and contrasted a night out in Newcastle with a night out in Rio de Janeiro.
With three presenters and interviews with locals in many of the location venues, the programme caught the essence of the carnival city, where people party all night.
