Selected for the Out of Fashion Competition of the International Filmfestival Rotterdam 2011
Short film made for the fashion film contest of the International Filmfestival Rotterdam. The call was to make a fashion film with a young fashion designer.
Noortje Zijlstra, freshly graduated as fashion designer at the art academy with a collection including beards for women, a collection causing a nice little stir and awoke a great deal of interest.
Now Noortje is in between collections, with no solid idea yet of a new direction. The state of mind of Noortje’s Brain is in flux. Chaos fills her head. She is organising the things to do, anticipating the feelings of slight panic that happened before. She is searching for clarity that always soon follows after the chaos. Making something light out of something heavy again.
It is possible.
She knows.
